In true Garmin fashion, the majority of additional options in the Nuvi 465T are very similar to the rest of the Nuvi xxxT series. The preloaded mapping includes NAVTEQ data for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Some of the options included are; full text-to-speech voice direction, Bluetooth connectivity, and Lane Assist. Video tutorials on how to best utilize these additional features are available online at GPS City. Speed limits are displayed for most US roadways. Upcoming road conditions are preloaded, so truckers can be aware of steep curves, hills, and other common danger zones.
In following the other T models, the nuvi 465T has subscription-free, real-time traffic updates for life supplied by NAVTEQ Traffic. The traffic feature is only available in select areas, be sure to check the coverage areas, online with the Total Traffic Network to see if your location is available.
