Who did th' dastardly deed? That`s fer me t' know an' ye t' find ou'!
Ye will be havin' a full day in th' Hollywood/ Burbank/ Studio City area t' gather clues, evidence, motives (an' a bit o' pirate' booty) in order t' brin' th' killer t' justice! Thar be over 40 caches t' find, puzzles t' solve, an' a good time t' be had by all. Prizes an' braggin' rights await ye at "The Jig at The Salty Sea Dog" ! GC1PR8W

They be askin' fer a contribution o' $10 per swabbie t' help defray costs o' th' caches, prizes, etc. Kids under 12 be free.
Meet at coordinates (N 34 08.467) (W 118 21.692) no later than 8:30 in th' mornin'. Rules, cache listings, an' all puzzle information, be handed ou' then.
Crews may be made up o' as FEW as two (minimum one cacher one driver), or as MANY swabbies will safely fit into ONE car. (one seatbelt per swabbie please)
Thar be some light walkin' / hikin' involved, but nothin' too strenuous.
Brin’ GPS, a few doubloons for parkin’ meters, a sharp mind, and a willin’ spirit. Water & snacks be a good idea, but food and drink may be purchased at t’ restaurant where the awards ceremony will be held. A CD player is a bonus. Cameras encouraged, but not required.
Pirate themed attire (an' talkin’) strongly encouraged (an' will cause th' judges t' look favorably upon ye in case o' a tie.)
This adventure be rated "ARGH"!!! (or "PG" for references to violent behavior in the past, such as pirates being hung, flogged and marooned.)
