With so much competition in the marketplace right now, TomTom has the right idea with the release of their XL 335S. This new unit is going to be priced attractively, and contain the primary navigation options consumers are asking for.
Coming soon to Canada and the US, TomTom will retail the new XL 335S for less that $250. This aggressive pricing will boost this new unit, to the top of the low-mid range GPS units.
The new model comes with a 4.3-inch
touchscreen display, text to speech translation and Advanced Lane
Guidance which displays visual directions as well as exit ramps and
highway interchanges.
The XL 335S also comes with IQ routes technology which determines
the fastest travel routes based upon speed measurements. The unit also
includes a database of 7 million points of interest (POI), spoken
street names and the Fold and Go EasyPort mount.
An exact release date for this unit was unavaialble at this time.
