 Garmin launched their online community, Garmin Connect, to interface primarily with their fitness lineup. They have now added their outdoor product line, to the compatibility list for use with Garmin Connect. With the new update, uploads are now accepted from handhelds like; the Oregons, Foretrex 301 and 401, Colorado or the motorcycle units Zumo 550 and 660.
Garmin is becoming known as the go-to site for all; activity logging and training needs. Some of the improvements handheld users will notice are:
- Easy Uploads for new generation Garmin devices
- Manual uploads for .gpx files
- Activity log in table view or the new Calendar view
- Detailed analysis of activities, and an improved player for review.
- Export to Google Earth
- Sharing on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook
These new features are likely to exceed customer expectations, giving them numerous possibilities for their outdoor and fitness devices. |
