While well known for their Nuvi vehicle navigation systems, Garmin also offers specific styles such as their Zumo series for motorcycle use.
The newest GPS the Zumo lineup is the 220, an entry-level and user-friendly system that includes full US and Canadian map coverage preloaded. The voice prompting provided via Bluetooth, gives turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names. This feature sets the Zumo series apart from the Nuvi units that only include the built-in speaker. It's very difficult, if not impossible, to hear spoken directions without the aid of a Bluetooth headset.
Completely self-contained the Zumo 220 is fully waterproof, as well as resistant to fuel sprays and UV rays. Pair these features with the compact design and the result is a great addition to any motorcycle, from the slim and sleek to the larger touring styles.
The microSD card slot allows users to add optional mapping, or photos. These photos can be associated to certain saved locations, with the Garmin Connect Photos option, check out connect.garmin.com for more info.
