Check online at GPS City or Garmin for coverage areas. You can now update your unit quarterly, with the LifeTime update subscription. Simply connect to any computer with internet connection, to access your Garmin dashboard and update profile. Updates will include information such as recently added interchanges, new subdivisions, points of interest, lane expansions and much more. LifeTime updates are for one unit only and cannot be transferred when a new unit is purchased. If there is a chance that the current GPS may be upgraded in the near future, a OneTime DVD update may be more appropriate. The OneTime updates will have one full year of update data on a DVD, which is transferred to the GPS via the computer. All of Garmin updates must be applied to a full version of the map, they can not be used to add map data for areas not already loaded into the GPS or on the computer.
