Garmin's connected line of GPS navigators is getting an expansion. Recent FCC testing on the nuvi 1695, a follow-up to their nuvi 1690, have showcased some new features. The nuvi 1695 will be able to connect to GSM networks to obtain live traffic updates, as well as additional services. This new design is comparable to it's predecessor in mapping and features like bluetooth pairing with compatible cell phones. The sleek design is also going to be carried through to the new 1695, and rumor has it Garmin may have included their trafficTrends feature. As the release date nears we should receive more details on new features and additional services available through the nuLink option.
