 The Calgary Health, Fitness & Sport Expo will be held at the Absolute Sports Centre tomorrow, January 15 2011. Come down between 10am and 4pm to view exhibits from local and national fitness clubs, gyms, spas, nutritionists and more. Hyped as one of the largest exhibitions in the region, the focus of the show is to bring together members of the health and fitness industry. Tomorrow, new equipment, techniques and technology that benefit these professions will be demonstrated. One of the newest technologies from the fitness world that may be featured this weekend is the ANT+ wireless function. Many of Garmin's newest fitness GPS units are equipped with ANT+ technology, which allows the sending and receiving of data from compatible treadmills, stationary bikes and scales. Also look for the Garmin Forerunner 405 series, which is a line of GPS watches. This series syncs with some of the newest styles of exercise equipment in the industry.
