The new Connect allows users to keep in contact with friends, family and others colleagues during their travel adventures. Whether a prewritten standard message or a 41 character personal message, Connect sends the message to your contacts through social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.
When traveling, Connect provides a peace of mind for loved ones with the SOS function. If activated, an emergency request containing your GPS location is sent every 5 minutes. The request uses satellite signals instead of cell towers so users can still contact help when out of cell range. If you need assistance, SPOT Connect assures it will be there. |
