Locals and travelers alike will be thrilled with the added BlueChart coverage for the Black Sea and Sea of Azov. Additionally, smaller bodies of water, including the Dnieper River, the Dardanelles and the Sea of Marmara, will be accessible through the charts. Similar to other popular Garmin BlueChart G2 products, the Black Sea and Sea of Azov have detailed fishing contours, recommended routes and static and dynamic isobaths. Treasure hunters can locate wrecks from the information provided on the map database to supplement images received from the sounders and transducers on most marine units. However, it's worth noting that the text on the BlueChart is displayed in the native languages of Turkish and Cyrillic. English is unavailable so travelers will need to hire a local guide or use a pocket dictionary for translations. Compatible units include: Garmin GPSMAP 400, 500, 600, 700, 5000, 6000, and 7000 series. Available formats of this software come on BlueChart G2 and G2 Vision microSD/SD cards.
