 Similar to Garmin, TomTom recently began offering annual mapping updates for their GPS users.
In an email sent to all current users, TomTom outlined their newly announced updating system. Recommended for travel destinations, the Single Map Update refreshes the map data on your GPS for a one-time cost of $59.95. The One Year Map Update Service provides access to new mapping info every 3 months (4 times a year) at only $39.80. This second choice is more cost effective for people living and traveling in major urban centers where streets and points of interest tend to change from year to year.
