The Garmin Approach G3 offers thousands of preloaded maps for golf courses throughout the United States and Canada. The highly sensitive GPS receiver allows golfers to find their exact position on the course, eliminating the guesswork from their golf game. Also, when a golfer moves onto the next hole, the Approach G3 automatically updates the location. Before swinging, golfers can touch any point on the Approach G3 to find the exact distance for their intended shot. As golfers close in on the hole, they can use the Green View feature. Green View provides yardage within the green so golfers can properly prepare their shot. Approach G3 also simplifies keeping score. The GPS unit serves as a digital scorecard, keeping score for up to four players. After finishing a game, scores can be saved and later pulled up on a computer for review.
