Mike from Ottawa is the proud owner of the new Garmin Montana 650. Released in June, the Montana 650 was ideal for Mike who was looking for a rugged GPS with advanced technology and top of the line features.
Mike said, "I've had many Garmin GPS units over the years, but none has been as exciting as my new Montana 650! What an awesome piece of equipment. For the last two years I've had an Oregon 550 and a 62S and this Montana has made me forget those others very quickly."
The Montana 650 offers versatility with its 4" touchscreen and dual orientation display. The Garmin GPS can be used on the hiking trail, out hunting, on a boat and mounted to your car or motorcycle because of its durability. Motorcycle riders like Mike can take the Montana GPS out in dust, dirt, water and humidity. Additionally, the Garmin Montana 650 also comes pre-bundled with different mapping options including Canada Topo, US 100K Topo and City Navigator. These bundles make it easier for long rides on unfamiliar roads.
Mike continued, "I've used it on my motorcycle on the rugged Garmin mount and it's been very easy to see, and it's very configurable, so only what I need to see is on the screen at any time. The 650 has an onboard camera, so I've included a couple of photos I took with it. I'm impressed with the quality of the photos!" To see Mike's pictures, read his original post.
