 TomTom is bringing their TomTom HD Traffic Down Under. Today, TomTom announced the Australian version of HD Traffic. The navigation and traffic guide is already available in the United States and Europe. Chris Kearney, the Vice-President of TomTom Asia Pacific explains, "The introduction of TomTom HD Traffic to Australia marks a fundamental breakthrough in the quality and functionality of GPS devices, giving Australia drivers real-time information about road conditions. With HD Traffic, TomTom provides drivers with the best routing information and most accurate and detailed live traffic information available." TomTom HD Traffic show live views of traffic flow and incident updates. Taking current road conditions into consideration, routes are recalculated to find the quickest way. HD Traffic Australia offers country-wide coverage. TomTom says this includes highways, main roads and secondary roads in both metro and regional areas. Additionally, TomTom offers quarterly mapping updates. The updates ensure the HD Traffic is current and matches the mapping on drivers' GPS devices. |
