A bit of ingenuity combined with GPS technology can make for some family fun! Farmers across Canada and the United States have designed some fantastic corn mazes to entertain and challenge people of all ages.
Maze creators will often use GPS devices to create a detailed grid to follow when cutting out paths in corn fields. With the help of a laptop and a turn-by-turn reference, the farmer can use the plow to make letters, shapes or other designs. Some maze designs are more intricate than others like the corn maze image of the Sphinx, pyramids and sun at left.
