 Garmin has designed a new low-profile, powered dash mount for the nuvi GPS series. The mount is compatible with the majority of the nuvi line, excluding the 600, 700, and 800 units. This mount does not support traffic updates. To receive traffic updates the user must use the power/traffic cable provided in the box with the GPS. This fixed mount solution is more attractive than previous dash mounts and still offers stable support for your vehicle GPS. It has a 17mm g-ball adapter which makes it compatible with all Garmin nuvi cradles.
With a click of a button this mount's adjustable arm and power cable can quickly be disconnected. When using electronics in vehicles, it is important that all traces of a GPS are kept hidden to deter theft.
