Nestle has created an interesting marketing promotion that utilizes GPS trackers in their chocolate bars. Their "we will find you" campaign will track 6 customers in the UK who have purchased the winnings bars. When a winning customer opens the wrapper, a GPS unit that has been embedded in the chocolate will trigger. A dedicated prize team will do what it takes to find them within 24 hours to award them with a check for £10,000.
In addition to their campaign, they plant posters, mobile texting numbers and QR codes around the city to have people enter for additional prizes. Their website will let customers know how many of the candy bars are left to be found.
Although highly innovative, let's hope the team doesn't show up during your morning shower!
