The Garmin GLO is the first of it's kind. A Bluetooth GPS reciever that utilizes both the North American GPS and the Russian GLONASS satellite constellations. This dual antenna allows the Garmin GLO to lock onto a satellite signal 20% faster and remain connected even at high speeds.

The built-in Bluetooth technology easily pairs with many mobile devices such as Android smartphones and tablets, or Apple iPod Touches, iPhones and iPads. Featuring up to 12 hours of battery life the GLO will keep your position even on long road trips. For lengthier excursions charge the device with an optional 12V power adapter.

One excellent feature is that the Garmin GLO does not require a specific software package. Any software able to receive NMEA data will be able to communicate with the GLO for accurate navigation anywhere.
