Navico's Insight Genesis is a complimentary online tool that allows users to create their own depth contour maps. The charts are made with information collected from the users own sonar log recordings.
Another new addition to the Navico website is the download option for mapping, instead of purchasing it on preloaded cards. This means 100% availability on any map offered as a download, no more backorders or waiting for a card to be shipped in the mail. Instant gratification at it's finest.
The user-designed Insight Genesis maps are free to view, however there are subscription costs to download these maps to use them on a compatible Lowrance device.
