Lowrance, once known strictly for their marine products, is now a well-rounded GPS company, dabbling in vehicle and handheld outdoor GPS units in recent years. Their current handheld series, the PN-60W, was paired with a SPOT messenger device for active tracking and SOS needs.

As their line up continued to expand, Lowrance found it necessary to revisit their warranty and returns programs. The result is an enhanced service program including the brand-new consumer friendly; 24 Swap Advantage, the 5-Year Advantage and the SIS Advantage.

As early as 2011, Lowrance was addressing their customers concerns and using consumer feedback to the best of their ability. Initializing the 5-Year Advantage enabled them to provide peace of mind by providing comprehensive support for a full five years on all items. This includes upgrades to a comparable replacement if the defective model is no longer available.

In addition to the 5-year defective exchange program, Lowrance has implemented a 24-hour replacement option; aptly named the 24 Swap Advantage. For a fee, Lowrance will expedite a replacement for qualified defective products within 24 hours. The qualifying products will change periodically, for a current list please contact a Lowrance customer-care specialist.

The SIS Advantage program benefits include guaranteed trouble-free operation of Lowrance systems that have been installed by a Certified Dealer or authorized factory. This process ensures the products have been thoroughly inspected and tested during installation as well as training by a qualified technician.

The collaboration of these new service programs assures new and prospective boat owners that Lowrance products are not just effective navigation devices, but are backed by a trustworthy company.
