Littles ones having some doubts that Santa is real? Well, there is a little magic to get them believing in Santa again. Two companies have created an imaginative app that allows you to track Santa's path as he makes his way to your chimney on Christmas Eve night. Santa GPS 2.0 for iPad, created by Fission Media Group, includes a countdown to the start of Rudolph's take-off. The app will display his progression across the globe and even tell you exactly how far he is from your home and what time he will arrive at your tree. The app even gives longitude and latitude coordinates to be sure that the trip is as "accurate" as can be. This app is available for iPad in iTunes or the Apple App Store for only $1.99. NORAD Tracks Santa is the second app created by the NORAD aerospace control team. It is a collaborative project that has been going since 1955. The program was developed and kept alive out of love through donations and volunteers through the years. The interactive journey not only tracks Santa through apps, but you can also follow his trip on Bing Maps. In addition, "live" videos on the NORAD Track Santa website are available for viewing to see what Santa is up to. This app is available on iOS and Windows and can be found in the Windows Store, Google Play or the Apple App Store. Be sure to keep the little ones anticipation for Santa active this season by showing them proof of Santa's movements through one of these apps. Don't forget the milk and cookies too! |
