| Maryland launches new Geotrail with big event |

 The New Year brings reason to explore the cities and towns of Maryland. The Maryland Municipal League is hosting a kick-off event to introduce their new geotrail. The team has coordinated over 45 caches placed among 10 districts across the Old Line State including caches in museums, parks and towns. The event will launch on Saturday, January 5 at the Greenbelt Youth Center at 10 am. Geocachers from all around are invited to attend the inaugural event, and the first 200 cachers will receive an exclusive geocoin. Refreshments, door prizes and kid activities will be available for everyone. They are also sharing a passport and advanced listing of all the geocaches with all the attendees at the end of the event.
