 Garmin has just announced their 2013 version of Bluecharts G2 and G2 Vision charts. For users who currently own Bluecharts G2 or G2 Vision maps, GPS City have the update cards available! If you already own a Garmin marine unit with preloaded US charts, get updates here!
Available immediately, the maps now include three new areas; Germany and France Inland Waters, as well as Crete-Cyrpus (with Greek text). Other updates include the addition of charts for 3700 varied inland areas of Europe and the Mediterranean. Garmin has also corrected GMRMPA Zoning displays along Michaelmas Bay in Australia's Marine National Park. Consumers can choose either, the G2 or G2 Vision charts, for all of Garmin's coverage areas. The major differences between the Vision and non-Vision data are the 3D MarinerEye and FishEye Views, satellite imagery, photos of landmarks and marinas, land-based POIs with coastal roads and Auto Guidance features.
