MUST-HAVE ITEM FOR IOS USERS
Pros: on the spot settings changes & framing feedback Cons: no view while recording, re-pairing each connect
Without this optional card, iOS devices won't talk to a Contour camera, though Android devices will, from what I've read.
If you have an iOS device, get this card. While it doesn't offer a live view while filming, seeing what's on screen lets you set up the device in the field.
It also allows reconfiguration of the video settings without a computer to connect to.

WORKS AS ADVERTISED
Pros: changing settings and or aligning countourgps Cons: occasional camera resets required due to freezing
If you have an iPhone then this is useful for aligning and/or changing the settings of your ContourGPS. I've definitely found it useful. It's still early days because I get lockups with the camera and I have to pull the battery to get it to turn off. Not all the time, just occasionally.

IT DOES THE JOB BUT NEEDS MORE REFINEMENT
Pros: great for setting up your aim and changing setting Cons: software needs work/more refinement
I would have to say that at the time of writing this there is not much out on the market that comes close to what this delivers. Overall I found that the pairing is fine but you have to continually pair the camera to the device every time you want to access the software(very clunky in my mind) on the iPhone 4. More times than I like the camera would freeze up and not respond to pairing or the camera would just plain loose Bluetooth pairing for no apparent reason. Needless to say the camera / Bluetooth option does not recover from loss of connection very well and you will need to remove the battery from the camera to reset it, before you can reuse it again.
