Get Help if You Need It
Press the SOS button and your alert will be relayed to emergency responders, along with your position. Or, use your PN-60w to send an SOS message describing your situation so that responders can be properly prepared.
Message delivery is confirmed for all SOS messages - pushbutton or text. SOS messages can also be cancelled in either mode.

Remote Tracking
Anyone you designate can follow your travels via DeLorme Topo North America maps displayed online. The tracking intervals are inReach user-controlled, and can range from ten minuntes to four hours. Remote tracking is automatically triggered by SOS messages.
Onboard GPS
The inReach has a high-sensitivity chipset to pinpoint your position in any messages you send, and for remote tracking. Accuracy is to within 10', and signal lock has been successfully tested under heavy cover.
