Garmin and Mac - Like Ebony and Ivory

With the Apple line of computers increasing in popularity because of their ease of use and reliability, Garmin now has Mac support in almost all their products. Here are a few Apple Mac programs from Garmin that you can use to display collected GPS data and transfer maps and points to your GPS. - BaseCamp - This software replaces Garmin MapSource for transferring data to and from your Mac or PC. The benifit to Base Camp is the 3D functionality with 3D compatible mapping. You can choose to view the maps in 3D, 2D or a combination of the two.
- RoadTrip - Plan and manage your road trips, whether they are treks around town or across the country, and send them to your Garmin GPS.
- Garmin ANT Agent - Is used for wirelessley transferring fitness data from Garmin fitness GPS units, to your PC.
