GPSCity.com is seeking a reliable, hard-working individual to handle book-keeping and accounting duties in our Las Vegas office.
We are a well-established market leader and web-based online retailer now entering our 19th year of business, with operations in the USA and Canada. We are located just south of Eastern and Sunset.
This position reports to the President and is a permanent, full-time position. Standard office hours are 8 to 5, Monday to Friday. Compensation is DOE. We offer a full benefits package including medical, dental, and paid vacation. We are a family owned and operated business with 15 employees.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This is a full charge bookkeeper position with responsibility for all accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, GL, payroll, account reconciliations, and period closings. Responsibility also includes handling collections activities, filing of 1099s, and other administrative, HR and accounting tasks.
You will possess a degree in accounting or equivalent, proficiency using QuickBooks and Excel, and three to five years book-keeping experience. You will be well organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to work independently to quickly adapt to our existing accounting system. You will recognize areas where improvement can be made and work to implement them.
