17.5
Pros: works great Cons: none
This lanyard is the perfect length to hang around your neck. I also have the Garmin belt clip attachment with carabiner fastened to my pack shoulder strap. So, I use the belt clip as my primary holding system, with the lanyard as the back up retaining system in case the belt clip comes loose for whatever reason - a "belt and suspenders" approach to not losing my GPS. This system works great for me. If you don't like the lanyard around your neck, you can fasten it to another carbiner on your pack strap.

NICE FOR SMALL DEVICES, BUT NOT THE GARMIN MONTANA
Pros: works as advertised Cons: narrow straps, seems delicate
I got this hoping to use it with my Garmin Montana. While it does work, it just seems too small and delicate to trust with something that large.

GARMIN 17.5 INCH LANYARD
Pros: inexpensive Cons: narrow strap
For the price, it's a good deal. A wider strap would be better but it will at least keep the GPS from falling on the ground or in the water. I thought it came with some sort of clip that snaps onto the eTrex but it just attaches by looping it around itself.

CAMERA SUPPORT
This lanyard provides a length which permits a small camera to be suspended around the neck rather tan the inconvenient wrist strap supplied with most cameras

GARMIN 17.5 INCH LANYARD
Pros: excellent product Cons: none
For some inexplicable reason, in the UK, it's not possible to puchase a long lanyard for my Garmin 76CSx. This item is perfect for my needs and means I can wear it round my neck and is long enough to operate my GPS unit on our yacht without having to take it off! I have recommended your company to another friend who also wants to buy a lanyard of sensible length for his Garmin.

STOCK LANYARD
A great replacement for my old lanyard. It is about an inch or so longer than the original, but no big deal.

AWESOM LANYARD
Pros: great quality Cons: maybe a little too long but w/e
A simple object with one thing in mind, and that was quality. This lanyard is great for GPS devices, but even better with phones in keeping them out of harms way.

PERFECT LENGTH TO HANG GARMIN 60CSX AROUND NECK
I use this with my Garmin 60CSx to hang it around my neck. I also use the clip which comes with the 60CSx to clip it to my pack. Lanyard is good insurance that you will not lose or drop the Garmin if the clip lets go. Also can let dangle by lanyard to allow ready access to the Garmin if you are having to refer to it frequently.

SUITS THE PURPOSE UNITL YOU FIND BETTER
Pros: suits the purpose Cons: not reflective, has no clip, no swivel,
Bought this lanyard to keep my GPS around my neck and inside my jacket while I'm out bush wacking and/ or winter camping. After browsing and shopping some more, I've decided to get a 5/8" to 3/4" wide lanyard bright orange or yellow which will also be reflective and with a clip allowing you to take the unit of the lanyard without having to take the lanyard from around your neck all the time.
As I mentioned, this one suits the purpose until you find better (such as a reflective one). That way, you're increasing your odds in finding your "investment" on the ground if you ever dropped or lost it.

LONG LANYARD
Pros: long enough to view gps carried around neck. Cons: none
I also had a long lanyard on my GPSMAP76, but lost signal as the connecting point was on bottom of unit. My GpsMap60Cx hangs properly when I tuck unit inside my coat to protect it from the elements and heavy brush. This length allows me to quickly pull out the unit to check my position when traversing new territory, rather than pulling up my coat tail and unzipping the case to pull out the unit.
