DUD DISK
Pros: good idea if it works. too bad it doesn't Cons: disks do not stick well enough, if at all.
I'm not impressed with the item. I cleaned the dashboard well, stuck the disk to the dashboard, and attached the GPS. The next morning the GPS was on the passenger seat, the disk having let go during the night. There were no instructions with the disk so I assume I did everything righ.

GREAT ITEM
Pros: easily installed, great base to mount yoor gps Cons: none
This is an easy way to mount your Garmin Nuvi. The disc itself is not removable once installed but everything else is, so nothing is left to attract those on the outside.

DON'T BUY THE GARMAN PLATE
Cons: didn't work. cost too much.
Don't buy the Garman adhesive plate unless you are mounting it on glass. The adhesive pad is very thin, so unless your dashboard is completely smooth, this won't work at all. And it wasn't cheap, considering it cost about 1/10th of a cent to make.

DASHBOARD SUCTION MOUNT PLATE
Changed vehicles and wanted to use same method of mounting my GPS in new vehicle and needed new Plate. The ones that were supplied each had adesive attached but were definately old as the adesive was not sticky and would not even stick to glass never mind the dashboard. The original in the old vehicle was stuck so hard that it took a razor knife to get it off the dashboard.

CLEANING REQUIRED
to make these stick. Use acetone or rubbing alcohol to clean area, let dry, then stick. Windex or other cleaners will not work.

WAREHOUSE DRY?
Cons: sticker would not hold
Sticker would not hold. Had to change the whole 2- face sticker to use it. Had probably been in storage for a long time. Otherwise the product in itself is a must if you more than one care and do not like to block the windshield.

GPS ACCESSORY FOR DASH MOUNT
Pros: better idea than windshield mounts.
Many retail stores sell the Garmin dash mounts with only 1 suction cup. IF you drive 2 vehicles, you need 2. Dash mounts are preferred over the windshield suction cups because you have less of the wiring dangling across the front of the vehicle down to the cigarette lighter plug.
