Manufacturer Description |
This cable allows you to power your StreetPilot or ColorMap (or any Garmin GPS unit) from your household 110 VAC current AND at the same time, upload or download data into the GPS unit.
It is essentially the same as the vehicle combo cable, except that it uses household plug-ins in place of the cigarette lighter plug-in in your vehicle.
Especially handy for those long waits while your StreetPilot or ColorMap unit programs its data card (typical times shown in table below).
Another solution to the long programming times is the USB Programmer. It can cut the programming time from 720 minutes to 8 minutes. Click here for more information.
USB PORT: If you need to connect the serial end of this cable to a USB Port then you will need to purchase a USB Adapter.
