Q: What is a coupon code and where do I obtain it?
A: It is similar to a PIN number. You require it to enter GARMIN's web site to begin the process of obtaining an unlock code. This is what we ship to you when you purchase an unlock code.
Q: Once I have the coupon code, what next?
A: The first step is to obtain the unlock code from GARMIN's website. To do this you will required to enter your coupon code , the 8digit serial number of your GPS V (found on the back of your unit), the area you have chosen to unlock and some personal information.
Q: Can I change the DCA coverage area after I've obtained an unlock code form the Garmin web site?
A: Once you complete the unlock process, GARMIN cannot make changes to your coverage area, or give refunds or exchanges for MapSource unlock codes. Please be very careful to select the regions you want to unlock.

The MapSource City Select CD ROM software automatically creates point-to-point routes in MapSource, on a PC, in a GPS V (with 'beep' prompting) and also a SP3. It covers Western Europe.

GPS CITY NOTE:
? Each unlocked area(s) for City Navigator CD can register a maximum of two Garmin GPS units for data and mapping uploading.
? The auto-routing feature on this CD will only work in the GPS V, StreetPilot III and on your PC.
? The CD has the voice prompting feature for the StreetPilot III and the 'beeping' function for the GPS V.
Please note: The trip and waypoint management functions of this product work with nearly all GARMIN GPS units, excluding the GPS100 family and panel mount aviation units.
