Garmin is pleased to announce the availability of new BlueChart® g2 cards to ensure that customers stay equipped with the most current charts available. These easy-to-redeem cards allow customers to download an update for existing BlueChart g2 preprogrammed microSD/SD cards.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This program is available for any customer who currently owns a BlueChart g2 preprogrammed microSD/SD card.
PURCHASE: Customers purchase one of these convenient retail gift cards from GPS City. If updating an existing BlueChart g2 microSD/SD card, purchase the BlueChart g2 Update Retail card at GPS City.
REDEEM: Redemption is simple; visit www.garmin.com/activatecard, enter the Product Key from the back of the plastic gift card, then insert an existing pre-programmed BlueChart g2 card into an SD card reader connected to their computer. The Garmin website then erases and replaces the BlueChart g2 map data on the microSD/SD card with the most up-to-date version available. Updated charts will be for the same (or equivalent*) region as the existing preprogrammed card.
*Equivalent region to be determined at Garmin’s sole discretion. Customer will have opportunity to view available coverage before making decision to purchase and/or update.
