GARMIN CD WORLD REVIEW
I bought the mapping CD to hopefully provide shoreline and port information for the Caribbean islands as the marine maps are too expensive for just casual use. The product write-up says good shoreline coverage and many islands are displayed. I found the shorelines were a little coarser in detail than I expected and the offshore islands lacked detail. Minimal road coverage was given on most islands. Very good detail was given for the U.S., much less for Canada. My expectations were probably set too high but for the price of the CD (which was lowest at GPSCity) I wish I had bought one of the marine regions instead
Pros: very good migration around the world.
Cons: the font size of the island names was too small.
