GARMIN CHIRP
Pros: great price. Cons: none
Item is as described and it shipped fast. This is the lowest priced Chirp that I have found on the web and this site has been very reliable on their products (this is my second time purchasing through them and it definitely will not be the last :)

GARMIN CHIRP REVIEW
Cons: the "hook & loop" attachment system is not robust.
This is the second set of chirps I bought. One of the previous ones is now a Geocache and the other is a spare. Ordered two more to use as Travel Bugs (Geocaching related). Some people are having trouble "downloading" the chirp details, but the problem is theirs. They get in a hurry and can easily not get the chirp "signal". I am convinced that chirps work just fine.

CHIRP REVIEW
Pros: easy to programme Cons: flimsy "hook and loop" system
I purchased two of these and they are easy to programme. Easy to change the battery, and easy to re-prgramme. However the system used to keep these in place needs some more work. Not very good as they are packaged. I had to come up with my own system in order to keep them in place more securely on a tree. The "hook and loop" system is not good at all, too flimsy. The product itself is great, just not the "holding" system.

GREAT NEW ADDITION
Pros: new levels of geocaching Cons: can be costly if stolen.
to Geocaching, there is the worry that they go missing, and that would e additional cost to maintaining the cache. But seems to work great. Got one here and seeing how it survives a cold winter.

GOOD IDEA
Pros: good range, easier winter caching Cons: cost
I can see some very cool uses for the Chirp but the initial cost and possible replacement if some one mistakenly takes it or muggled!!!

SUPER
Pros: simplicité Cons: pris
J'ai créé une multi cache avec deux chirps, tout fonctionne très bien. Reste à voir s'ils vont résister à l'hiver québécois

CHIRP SPEAK
Pros: small, good range and makes winter caching easier. Cons: propriatary, limits units that can read them.
After hearing about these wireless units I went out and bought a couple right from the store. One has been placed in a cache right here in Calgary, Alberta. The cache is a multi with the non Chirp user able to find the final. So far the reaction from the local caching community has been good. The advantage is to the Chirp capable GPSr's in that they dont have to physically find the first stage in order to get the coords to the final.

VERY INTERESTING CONCEPT
Pros: neat concept Cons: only works with a few models of gps
It's an interesting concept that has a lot of potential for some very clever cache ideas. The main problem that I can see with it is that if you use it as a required element of finding your cache, you limit the number of finders to a fairly small subset of the caching community. (If it is not required to find your cache, what's the point of having it...)

GREAT IDEA, BUT...
Pros: great idea Cons: overpriced
Great idea, but... 22 bucks plus another 10 for shipping? Way too much. 10 bucks each including shipping I'd buy a dozen.
