GREAT ITEM FOR ATV
I bought this adapter for my ATV, instead of batteries for the longer trips. It seems to hold on well, with no problems so far.

WORKS GREAT!!
Using the adapter to power my GPSMAP76CSx on my snowmobile. No problems yet. Sure saves on batteries and it keeps the back-light on at all times making the screen easier to see. Your product descriptions don't mention that the power end of the cord is fused....this could be helpful to some people.

GPS FOR MOTORBIKE
I removed the cigarette plug and hardwired to my KLR650 electrical system. Just returned from 3000 mile trip to Mexico and the GPS adapter cable performed like a champ!
Pros: good and inexpensive

GARMIN CIGARETTE LIGHTER ADAPTER
This was for an old Street Pilot III (which I originally bought from GPSCity) that I just had renovated by Garmin. (It is a wonderful GPS and much more stable than the new ones, in my opinion.) But the original Cigarette Lighter Adapter cord also had a speaker attached to the cord which was nice since it took up little space. I wonder why they didn't add the speaker like the original. I haven't used this new cord (which has a unique power plug) but I decided to buy this one from you as a backup since some day a cord for that unit will probably not be available. But now I will have to figure out where to place a speaker when I use it someday. Is there any speaker units for that power cord I am not aware of?

GOOD CABLE
Great for geocaching. I bought an auto mount later, because the gps with cable plugged in becomes unbalanced and slides around the dashboard.

PLUGS RIGHT IN!
This cable fits snugly into both my cars DC outlet, AND my GPS! WOW! how convenient!!

A must if you use the GPS in a vehicle. I use the 60CSX in conjunction with this product, however it is still advised to have the AA batteries in the device in case your vehicle breaks down or had a battery related fault. apart from that good bit of kit. only down side is the one I have does no have a green confidence light, the older ones had them.
Pros: as above
Cons: no green light, the old ones did.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I adapted this cable so it plugs into my snowmobile plug. It held up very well on a 200 mile journey through very rough terrain and -38 degree celsius temperatures.
Cons: make a y adapter to fit an rca jack for snowmobile
