DATA GOOD, BUT NAVIGATION EH....
Pros: coverage good Cons: navigation so-so
This is probably more a criticism of Garmin Mapsource, but navigating through the maps is a bit clumsy. Selecting points of interest to display is also not as simple as I'd like. (Comparing to Google maps via WEB)

POIS
Cons: see above
While the City Navigator worked well in most cases, we found it was lacking in locating nearby restaurants while we were in Tuscany. It always seemed to give us restaurants that were much further away than what we needed. Overall it was great to have in Europe.

GARMIN NAVIGATOR EUROPE 2010
Cons: not the 2011 edition that was recently released
Program works just fine and the DVD version is compatible with MapSource. Just take notice that this is the 2010 edition and the 2011 maps for Europe are now out. This does not include the expanded Scandinavia/Adriatic nations nor does it include Iceland.

VERY GOOD MAPPING SOFTWARE
Pros: very easy to use Cons: be careful when adding maps to gps.
Had good details. Software for adding waypoints is a little confusing, as hotel names are hard to find. Details for the roads and driving were very good. Not always the choice I would have taken for getting to a destination, but always got us to where we needed to go.
Only real negative. You need to be very careful when adding maps to the GPS with the included software. I missed a city (they are not included in the regions when copying) and we had to navigate by the seat of our pants when we got to that city.

A bit difficult to search for points of interest but the real test will be this Summer when I actually get to use it with my Garmin GPSMAP 276C.

GREAT PRODUCT, BUT LACKS ELEVATION INFORMATION...
Pros: complete and accurate... Cons: lacks elevation (altitude) information...
Mapping of just about everywhere in Europe is complete and accurate. But, as I am planning a 5000+km cycling trip, through mountains in may areas, elevation (altitude) information would have been useful...

EXCELLENT MAPPING
Pros: mapping, accuracy, amount of info included Cons: can only be used on one device, too much info?
I just got back from three weeks in England, The Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria, and Germany. The maps and POI's were all excellent and the routing worked flawlessly, even in some of the small towns we visited. What was also very handy was subway stations are included, it was like having a tour guide in my GPSr.

NOT USER FRIENDLY
Cons: difficult to use
I was given advice by Garmin to buy maps of Europe on DVD instead of on an SD card because then one can work with the maps on the computer.
That advice should have come with the warning that the program on the DVD is not user friendly. It comes with a brief, inadequate tutorial.
I have been corresponding with Garmin for weeks trying to get the entire set of maps saved on the new SD card I bought for my Garmin GPS. We are still not sure I have successfully done this. There will be no way to know until I get to Europe. When I go into Tools on the GPS to see what maps are loaded, it just gives a partial list ending with a comma for the European maps.
If there were an easy way to "select all" and be sure that is what was done it would be a help.
I would have been much better off just buying the maps on the SD card.

A LIFESAVER PIECE OF SOFTWARE
Pros: flawless performance Cons: data transfer from dvd to sd card was not easy
Garmin City Navigator Europe 2010 works very well in my Garmin Nüvi GPS and has all the features one would want and more when travelling in Europe. It is the best navigation tool for a traveler : no more costly paper maps and never getting lost again !

CITY NAVIGATOR EUROPE NT DVD 2010
Pros: more map information than north america Cons: none
I purchased the above maps to mainly use in Croatia, but purchased the whole of Europe as it was most cost effective. I purchased from GPSCITY because they had the best price for the maps, even thoug some people on their site did not give a favorable reviews to the product. I installed all the maps on an SD card for my Nuvi 265WT and the installation was straight forward. After landing in Frankfurt I turned my Nuvi and within a minute or so it acquired the sattelites and when I enquired where am I it showed me I was wright in the middle of Frankfurt airport. After arriving in Split the GPS booted up even faster and the maps worked flawlesly even in pedestrian mode in old parts of Split Sibenik and Zadar with very narrow streets and even when loosing sattelite signal because of obstructions it recovered quiet quickly. The most amazing part was when driving it showed the speed limits on most roada and quick speed changes when driving through towns. The latest version of North American maps does not do that in any place in Canada I have used it only in US (GARMIN PROBLEM) On my return trip I used in paris in pedestrian mode and it worked fine no problems

I bought the Europe map for my Garmin GPS and relied on it quite heavily. Without it, much of my time would have been spent stopping to get directions.
