Pros: no comments
Cons: i wish they'd provide in depth written instruction
I haven't used it yet. We're going to Europe soon. From what I've seen of it during the download, it should be very helpful navigating through the continent.

GOOD IF IT COVERS YOUR AREA
Pros: a lot of good info that works on garmin gps
Cons: you have to buy it again for each gps
Please remember that when you buy a Garmin map that it is locked to the device that you first unlock it for. If you get a better GPS, you need to buy all of the maps again. & VERY hard to unlock. It took two days of talking to Garmin Tech support on the phone.
The parts of this map set that I have used are very helpful.
I am not at all happy with Garmin.

SIMPLIFY THE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Pros: cannot tell yet.
Cons: terrible installation procedure.
The installation procedure seems to require direct contact online to Garmin through to my eTrex 30 plugged into the USB port. The setup program could not find my GPS even though it was fully visible and accessible in Windows Explorer. Garmin support suggested I disable all firewall and antivirus functionality and proceded to install this online! I am not doing that on my main computer with all photos, music etc on it. Since I am getting a new computer I have decidded to postpone installation until I have the new one online. Why can Garmin not make a simple online check of the license that pass through firewalls etc. without problems?

AWESOME FOR A BIKE AND DRIVING TRIP TO EUROPE
Pros: acurate, flexible depending on type of travel
Cons: some hotels not listed in memory
I just got back from a month long trip to Germany, France, Belgium and Holland. I was using Garmin City Navigator Europe NT DVD 2012 with a GPSMAP 60CSx. Most of the trip was on bicycles and part of it was in a rented car. I changed the setting for each type of use. For instance, while on bikes I set 60CSx to avoid highways.
From the very first day Navigator Europe NT placed us on bike routes wherever possible. When it chose roads it tried to keep us to quieter roads.
It also worked well on the highways when we had a rented car for a few days, giving us accurate warning of upcoming exits, etc.
The very last day of the trip we were really impressed. We had our bikes and came into the train station at Frankfurt Airport. As we came out we were surrounded by numerous very busy highways that we did not want to tackle on a bike. We rode about 1 km away from the terminal and had the GPS choose a route for us to our hotel which was 20 km away. It took us along a sidewalk and then actually had us turn into the forest. The trail actually turned out to be nicely graded horse trail which after a couple of km delivered us to a quiet country road. There is no way we could have found this route with out the software. A local resident might not even have know about it. By the end of the trip we just learned to trust it and would go wherever it would take us.

Would not be without it when Motorhoming in Europe. It worked in Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Rep. and all the western countries. Makes navigation a breeze in Europe. Would prefer Camping Grounds to be separated from Hotels to make them easier to find

GOOD, BUT NOT PERFECT
Mostly CityNavigator behaves perfect, but I have alredy, after a few weeks, fond some streets with wrong names! It's not easy to reach your destinaton when the map use other streetnames than all other maps.
