Pros: you should be able to unlock minimum 2 times
when you unlock and load dvd programe on your computer it is imposible to re install the program on a replacement computer

UNLOCK CODING SCAM
Cons: unlock codes required, lacks needed updated data
You must buy additional versions for each unit even though you are a single user. Thgey don't offer an unlock code at a reduced rate. So if I wanted updated data for my older units, its the same price of a new program for every unit. Still it lacks much data I expected to be up graded from my older of City streets version (this replaces that). Garmin says they priced the original version lower for the person that wants only one version. But those of us that own several pieces of their equipment are expected to pay out the $$$$. One of the problems is they don't spell this out at the time of purchase in BIG LETTERS. In fact if you read their agreement it says good for single users. I don't understand why they don't have an agreement with their program writers to allow registered unit single users. I have a few thousand dollars of Garmin equipment that uses Garmin's propriety software and I don't enjoy getting backed into a corner to pay out more money.

WORKS GREAT WITH GARMIN ETREX LEGEND CX
I ordered this software through gpscity.ca and it arrived on-time. I installed it to my desktop PC and then transfer maps to my Garmin eTrex Legend CX. I travel a lot so it is very valuable when I'm on my own. It allows me to find by Cities, Points of Interest, Addresses, etc, etc, etc.

GREAT FOR HAWAII TOO
Pros: accurate routes and map
Used this to get around Maui HI on our recent trip. It was able to get us wherever we wanted on a 10 day trip and it only made one routing error. Included all the POIs we looked for (hotels, restaurants, parks, addresses) and classified them intuitively.

Pros: routable
Cons: requires activation on line
So far very good for routing from location to location, seems accurate as far as roads go, with a few references to businesses that either aren't there or have changed. I noticed the discrepancies in my own home town, but larger centres seem accurate.

MUST HAVE MAPS
Pros: accurate street names, addresses and places.
Cons: current address location for stores not reliable.
This is a must have map navigator software for your Garmin GPS device. Streets names are accurate and concise. Navigate to your destination with confidence. GPSCity has the best pricing when I made this purchase. Before shopping anywhere else, check them first.

SATISFACTORY NORTH AMERICAN STREET MAPPING
Pros: computer installation & route planning...poi's
Cons: slow download from computer to handheld gps
Purchased this for an upcoming trip to Florida & to do some geocaching in the states we'd pass through. Have the 2008 version in a Nuvi 650 & an Ontario topo map in a 60CSX & a Garmin Oregon. All of the Garmin products I own have proved adequate for our activities which primarily involve geocaching, travel & in the case of the topo map, kayaking & some hiking. City Navigator has helped us plan the trip on the computer & assisted in organizing pocket queries of caches through geocaching.com. Easy, although somewhat slow, to download relevant maps to the handheld to save space. Overall satisfied with its performance.

INACCURATE AND FLAWED
I found dozens of errors in the map for my own town. Dozens, maybe hundreds, of local businesses are missing, including some big ones like Wal Mart (several years at its location) and Rona. Businesses that have been closed for years are still labelled on the map while others open for decades aren't shown. Addresses are wrong, and some icons misplaced - even on the wrong street (often 100s of metres or more from their real location). Major landmarks - like the yacht club, curling club, hockey arena, LCBO and cenotaph - are missing. Downtown laneways and two major municipal parking lots are missing. A private yacht club appears inland instead of on the water. The museum appears on the wrong street. And on and on. For local navigation or information, it's useless. I think this package is inaccurate and flawed: a waste of money.

The product was/is as expected. What I would like to say is that I am more appreciative of your product description on your website. I was looking for the 2009 street mapping software for my Garmin 60CSx. As this unit does not come with preexisting maps I needed to be sure that I purchased the full map set and not an upgrade. GPSCity was the only site I found that specifically stated that this was the product I was looking for and as such was where I decided to order from. Thank you for having an informed product description, it saved me time and worry about ordering the wrong product and having to deal with it later.

DOES WHAT IT SAYS.
Very detailed mapping and a lot of POI's. Not complete, but no database could ever be. It is best to add POI's that you need the most if they are missing. Non the less, this is a great bit of mapping software. I would hope that there are updates to the POI's and roads periodically that do not require buying the next version.

After purchasing a new Oregon, I found I also needed to further purchase software to use it. NT is supposedly a compressed version, and little changed functionally from previous versions. I was unable to unlock NT, despite years of Garmin experience. Garmin Support prevented me from pitching this disk in the lake. MANY POIs are badly displaced by miles in this version. Simply an expensive, and often erroneous update to City Navigator...but GPSCity rocks!

If I were traveling in the US the score would be quite good. POI for Canada though was very poor or for most areas non existent.Hospitals we have 2 within 20 miles of us and 3 major ones within the province along with others throughout NS. When we checked out hospitals we were directed out of the province across 40 miles of water or a drive around of I woud guess 400 miles. Roads outside of the cities were poorer than what is on my TOPO map and of the ones shown most were nameless

This is the 4th in a series of Garmin map products, all have been excellent, and easy to add/upgrade each map since I first purchased in 2000. The interface has remained consistent and easy to use, upgrades have not been a problem. I use Windows XP Pro operating system.

SO FAR...NOT HAPPY WITH THE LOADING
I know it will be corrected, but my loading experience is disastrous. First after loading and entering the s/n and key code...I got an error “There is a problem with the NTDBData installation Please re-install NTDBData and start Mapsource again”
After researching this problem finding out its a problem with my topo map and trying a few things,unsuccessfully, I decided it was best to delete all maps and reinstall.
I loaded trip & waypoint manager, and try to load City Nav...it loads and right at the end, before asking for s/n etc. I get the error message.." The installation has failed or you have chosen to cancel the installation. This program will now exit"
I am in contact with garmin support, and by email the answers are slow. But if it get corrected I redo my review.

MAPS UPDATE ARE WORTHWHILE !
Updated a North America NT 2008 to 2009 on a Nüvi 250. Differences are noticeable: much more accuracy. POI are deficient but not a major concern for me. Great service from gpscity.ca, once again.

GREAT BUY
This loaded and unlocked with no problems. It is detailed and usually very precise. (I have found a few businesses that are not quite in the exact physical location that the maps have them at - off by not more than a block most times. But details on points are all good. Route and track management is extra easy and useful. Great software!

Software is easy to load. Maps are easy to upload to device. Well detailed maps and easy to read with lots of information. Had some difficulty with figuring out unlock codes and I'm not crazy about having to re-upload all maps if I just want to add one area. Shipping from GPS City was fast and reliable. I would recommend this product

When I ordered the Garmin City Navigator North America NT DVD 2009 I received the Garmin City Navigator North America NT DVD 2008 and the Garmin City Navigator North America NT DVD 2009 Update (Unlock Code required). GPS City said I was entitled to a free update and Garmin would give me a unlock code. When I contacted Garmin said they could not give me an unlock code. Eventually In my myGarmin web account there was a link to a free download and was given a product code which allowed me to get my unlock code. I was able to download it after several attempts there were problems with their download manager that would stall at 97%. It's a very long download!
