Fantastic product and transfers from bike to wrist quite smoothly and rapidly. Like all things new, the velcro strap took a few tries to get used to, however fits snugly and fastens quickly. Product shipped and received in Southern Ontario in 2days!

Pros: quick release Cons: wrist mount seemed a bit awkward at first
The quick release has helped me use the Garmin 305, which I primarily used for running, for biking as well. So instead of relying on two different devices for tracking activities, I rely on a single GPS enabled device.

Pros: good design secure
I do like the wrist strap, it holds the watchin place well withopout being too tight. The bike clamp is great, was using a piece of foam strapping the watch on the handle bars. the clamp is way superior and seems to hold the watch very secure.

GARMIN 305 WRIST STRAP
Having used the Garmin 305 for a couple years while running and cycling I was often annoyed at the strap. It was often too tight or too loose and hard to adjust with gloves on or while running. And it was starting to split. Fitting it on my handlebars while biking didn't work at all.
I was looking around for a solution when I saw someone using this product at the local Running Room. He highly recommended it so I ordered one. It was well priced and arrived in about a day.
I really enjoy the new strap. I can keep it on and detach the watch, put it outside to get a signal and grab it later to re-attach it to the strap in a second or two. It also fits well and can be adjusted easily.

GARMIN QUICK RELEASE STRAP WORKS LIKE A CHARM!
Pros: simple, easy to use, velcro strap Cons: none so far!
So, I haven't used the strap with my bike yet but look forward to it in the coming weeks. My original strap with my GARMIN 205 broke and this strap seamed like a good idea. I was worried that it would be bulky or awkward to put on my wrist. It is neither. The only worry I have is that the plastic clip with get lose and I will lose my GARMIN on a trail run. Also, I am interested to see how the stitching will hold up with lost of sweat eating away at it. I'll post again if it breaks. :)

Pros: user friendly Cons: wrist band needs to be bigger
The wrist band could be bigger. By the tiem I get a wind breaker on and put the wrist band around the cuff, it barely fits. It's actually a bit tight on a bare wrist as well. It does work well and it's nice to switch easily between biking and running.

MUCH BETTER THAN A WATCH
Pros: quick and easy install Cons: none so far
For us cyclists, having a wrist based system is of little use, as it is very difficult to read while riding. I had an older 305 lying around (from my daughter's tri training days) and wanted to use it to monitor how I was doing on the bike. I heard from a club mate that there was a kit available to mount this on the bike and set off to find it.
The kit lives up to its billing, it provides a secure, visible mounting point for your computer. It is very easy to install, the tool provided makes removal of the existing watch strap simple, and then it is a click in place system.

The Garmin 305 Quick Release Wrist Mount, is great if your using your Garmin for several activities. I wanted it for Indoor Spinning, so I could attach my FR 305 to the bike and quickly see my HR.

A MUST-HAVE FOR MULTI-SPORT
Can't recommend this highly enough if you run AND bike. As others have reported, this wrist strap is actually more comfortable than the original that comes with the 205/305. And it switches easily and securely from wrist-strap to bike mount. And as small a thing as it may seem, seeing your ride stats with a quick downward glance is much safer and more convenient than doing the awkward wrist twist to check your speed or cadence. There are absolutely no concerns with your device falling out of the mounts if you simply follow the instruction carefully and make sure that the pins are well seated. Should have purchased this long before I did.

NICE DESIGN, EASY INSTALLATION
Pros: inexpensive, well-designed
If you are a runner who cycles, and already have a 205/305 then this is a great way to add a GPS system to your ride. The kit is complete and includes the little tool to make removing the stock wrist strap a piece of cake.
Once you've got the mount zip-tied to your bars, getting the watch in and out is relatively simple. It feels very secure - the watch isn't going anywhere. And the controls are easy to access, and screen is easy to see.
The new velcro wrist strap is actually more comfortable than the stock strap. You don't notice the additional height of the watch off your wrist at all and the velcro allows you to snug it to your wrist very nicely.
For those brick sessions, snapping the watch off the bike and onto your wrist takes seconds.

EASY TO USE AND SEEMS DURABLE
Pros: easy install, everyting (and then some) provided. Cons: none
I mounted the bike part on my handlebars with the included zip ties without any issue. I use it at least 5 days a week clipping my 205 in and out each day. The mount holds it securely and at a good viewing angle while riding. I have since added another bike to my routine and I have been using the wrist strap for those days. While there is no problem with the wrist strap (it even has reflective material) I prefer the handlebar mount as it is much easier to view while riding. I am going to order another bike-only mount for my new bike.

Pros: good fit, good for multi sport
Better wristband than the stock one. Velcros stays on better without coming undone and with better fit. Quick release is great to switch between bike and run. Zipties on the bike quick release means you have to pick one bike to use or get multiple mounts. But time will tell if it is more durable than others, though.

WRIST MOUNT CAN'T BE TRUSTED
Cons: you risk loosing your 305 if you use this!
Didn't even get far enough to try out the bike mount ... was out for a ride with the wrist strap and after about 45 minutes looked down and the device was gone! It had popped out ... after looking for ~1 hour luckily a friend found it (owe him a beer). I just don't trust it now. Looks like a combination of flexing / moving my wrist and hitting a bump. At initial review it looks like it is firmly in place but if you do twist and bump the right way it releases.

While original rubber strap on Forerunner 205 allows the device rotate a little bit on my hand, this Quick Release strap holds it firmly, without the need to adjust it during the run. Pros: get to use garmin for running and cycling Cons: wrist mount not great
Easy to attach to bike and wrist strap works OK. I am generally pleased with the item. Advice when attaching mount to bike is to wrap some tape around the handle bar first. This will add extra stability. Warning though on the wrist strap - I recently ran a marathon and another runner bumped my Garmin with his elbow and knocked it off the mount. It fell to the ground and I was lucky it did not break or stood on. For big running event use original strap!!

HANDY MOUNT
Pros: quick to attach and detach, firm mount Cons: no option to attach to the bike stem
This quick release system works well for quickly transfering the Forerunner305 from an arm-watch for running to a bike computer. A bike mount that attaches to the stem rather than the handlebar would be nice as I fear the forerunner will be crushed if I flip the bike on its head.

GARMIAN BIKE WRIST MOUNT
You don't get much for the money, but it works amazing and the wrist strap is more comfortable. Fits better on larger wrists.

GREAT NEW WRIST STRAP!
I bought this product so I could use it for triathlons and quick transitions. It is truly great for that but even over and above that fact, it is a new GREAT wrist strap! It is much more comfortable then the regular strap!
Great product!

VERY HAPPY!
I wasn't sure what to expect and the cost was more than I expected however, I have also appreciated this product more than I expected! The watch wrist strap I like more than my original strap. It just fits my wrist much more comfortably and my wife says the same about the way it fits on her thin wrist! Overall, I am very pleased with my investment in this product and I easily recommend it to others!
