Once I fogured out how to take the pins out of the watch it was very easy to put on the adapter plate. Makes the unit much more useable. Works great on the point of my aerobar

MUST HAVE FOR TRIATHLON RACING!
Pros: easy to assemble/install. works like intended. Cons: original arm bands may rip with repeated use.
I got this quite quick from GPS City out of Calgary. Instructions were accurate and easy to follow. It was hard to find a place to mount the bike mount because my tri bike "cockpit" has a big water bottle in the middle of it and does not have your typical stem/headset due to everything being integrated into the fork. The only issue I see with this is the wrist mount uses the original arm bands and it takes some torque to twist it off its base. I think repeated use will end up ripping the band. I may try to find a velcro or fabric band or just use it for racing (which i primarily do).
I use the 310 in Multisport mode so it runs the whole race. I did an ironman with the quickmount on my wrist and was great, no cutting or chafing.
Swim: Tucks easily under cap by itself. That way you get all the GPS data consistently. Never had a problem of it falling out of my cap.
Bike: Easily twists on when I get to the bike. No problems here.
Run: I just have to put on the watchband or I wear it right from the beginning. The only thing to be careful of is to not press any buttons when twisting it on.
I hope this helps anyone thinking of purchasing this.

WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?
Pros: easy to install. easier to see on bike. Cons: slightly taller than stock band.
This is the best accessory for the Garmin 310XT. I am wondering why I didn't buy it sooner. It installs easily and quickly (5 minutes). It still uses the original band as part of the system, which I like better than the black replacement band version. The bike attachment is solid and I don't anticipate having any problems with the unit flying off. The screen is so much easier to see when mounted on the bike rather than trying to twist your wrist while riding to see your ride data. Simply put...get this now and you won't be disappointed (if you ride a bike with your 310XT, if you don't why are you reading this anyway?).

WORKS FLAWLESSLY - SOLID
Pros: solid and easy to use. Cons: adds a couple of millimeters of height.
I had read reviews of the the quick release for the 310XT that said it had a flimsy strap. The kit I received integrates the strap that the 310XT comes with. It's sturdy, it locks with authority, it doesn't come off wrist or off bike. It's exactly what I hoped it would be. I not only recommended to friends, but ordered them for my friends that tri with me.

SHOULD BE ON WHEN YOU BUY IT.
Pros: everything, use it
I bought this to my 310XT and it is exactly what I was hoping it should be, I think they should make them like this at the factory since it is a multisport watch. Very easy/fast to mount from arm to bicycle and the mount feels very secure so no worries it will fall off. Had no problem with the assembly of it but I think the factory should ship them like this :D

HANDY MOUNT
Pros: convenient, simple, secure, fast mount Cons: assembly can be tricky
I use my Garmin 310XT for running and cycling, and this is a must have- easy to use, maybe a little tricky to set up and get the pins lined up, but that makes me feel a little more secure about it...
