GOOD UNIT
Works well, but tends to have a slight inaccuracy when running up and down hills, as I believe it works on stride lengths as opposed to GPS. Works great for setting pace. Easy to keep track of your training. Small, comfortable unit.

GOOD FOR BEGINNERS
Pros: size
I don't run everyday, but when I do this unit is awesome. It's not bulky, and doesn't swing around my wrist when in use. I also really like the size of the numbers on the screen, I can see them without stopping and squinting at it.

BEST INDOOR AND OUTDOR TRAINING ASSISTANCE
Pros: works indoors, you can wear it as a everyday watch Cons: no internal gps
The forerunner 50 is a great training assistant because it works well indoors and on the pavement. It records excellent speed and distance data. It does not have a GPS but the inertial sensors seem to work just as well. I would recommend this for anyone who trains indoors on a track.
