| Garmin GA26C Antenna Description |
This low profile remote antenna from Garmin will provide improved satellite coverage for your GPS unit while sitting in a car or other vehicle. It about half the size of a computer mouse, measuring 2.75''L x 2''W x 0.75''H, has 8 feet of cable terminating in a BNC connector and is powered by a low voltage, keeping battery drain to a minimum.
The antenna ships with two mounting options. The magnetic mount is designed for the outside of your vehicle or boat and the suction mount is to hold the antenna in place against the inside of your windshield or window.
This tiny remote antenna provides additional gain to your receiver and, when mounted on the roof of your vehicle, will give you complete 360 degree view of the sky. This will improve the tracking ability of the receiver and the DOP of your position fix.
It is important to note when installing your antenna, that GPS signals do not pass through metal and are attenuated (i.e. degraded) by other materials that may be located between the receiver antenna and the satellite. Due to the GPS satellites constantly moving, they can be located anywhere in the sky at anytime while you are tracking them.

I have searched youe site before, but this was the first time I made a purchase. Everything went smoothly. Very easy. Hope to do future business with GPSCITY.Com Douglas U. FL, Feb 11/12 |
GREAT service, from the moment that I placed the order - I knew that you had received it, and when my item would ship - it even arrived sooner than I expected. You have fabulous prices on both merchandise and shipping, and I will definitely be back... thanks! karla, Feb 9/12 |
It was great to be able to just buy this piece at a reasonable price. it came very quickly, too. Thank you! Marko, Feb 8/12 |
good video to understand unit - would not have bought two of them without the help Richard KTM, Feb 7/12 |
Nice price. EXCELLENT shipping cost and policy. I leave MANY sites because a) shipping cost is offensive (Garmin wanted $8 to ship a tiny card!), or b) I can't even find what they charge without entering my address, VISA card number, life history, etc. Thanks. I remember. Frank Frank C. MN, Feb 6/12 |
