Garmin’s GHC 10 marine autopilot helm control display has been redesigned to make installation easier than ever. The main difference in the new GHC 10 is that it can now be powered by the NMEA 2000 network – eliminating the need for individual power cords. The GHC 10 is a dedicated control unit for Garmin’s GHP™ 10 and GHP 10V marine autopilots. It features a large, sunlight- readable, 3.5-inch diagonal color display, and it brings simple plug-and-play configurability for boaters and installers alike.

Highlights of the redesigned GHC 10 are as follows:
  • The new GHC 10 is now being powered by the NMEA 2000 network only and will not be backwards compatible to existing power cable connections
  • The NMEA 0183 Transmit and Receive are fully backward compatible
  • NMEA 0183 installations will still require a NMEA 2000 connection for power
  • Accessory On is still supported
The GHC 10 is the dedicated control unit for the GHP 10, the autopilot system for power boat users who want auto-guided navigation.

Handle your Boat with Convenience and Safety

The simple, interactive interface of the GHC 10 gives boaters the confidence and security of controlling the heading of the boat at the press of a key. For example, each press of the steering soft key will change the commanded heading of the autopilot by 1 °. And as a safeguard, a dedicated “Standby” key allows you to instantly place the autopilot in standby to keep it from re-engaging.

Connect to other Marine Units

The GHC 10 communicates with the GHP 10 autopilot system via a NMEA 2000 bus, so autopilot heading data can easily be shared with other devices.

The GHC 10 also has the capability of communicating to a chartplotter for GPS-enabled route guidance over NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183.
