I've been using my GPS-18 since July 2004 for my APRS beacon. Still working good after a year of constant use. This is a cool unit to have for this type of use.

I just received my GPS18PC from GPSCity. Came by Fedex. I purchased it to replace the Garmin Etrex I have connected to my Kenwood D700A. I plugged the GPS18PC into the same cable I had connected to the Etrex. Then plugged in the supplied cigar plug. Gave it a few seconds to get organized. Turned on the D700A and immediately I saw the GPS light blink on the D700. Works great! I recommend the GPS18PC to everyone!
