Manufacturer Description |
Lost your other mount, or just need a second one? Well here it is. This mount is the Marine Mount that ships with the unit. The base is designed to be permanently mounted. There is a locking nut that connects the base to the mount, and also allow the unit to turn 360 degrees.
ALTERNATIVE BASES:
The Garmin Auto Base Converter is the base you use when you require something a little less permanent. This mounting base allows you to convert from this Swivel Mount to the Auto Mount Base. Click here for more details.
An even less permanent mounting solution is the Non-Skid Friction Marine Mount. The base is a bean filled bag with flexible lead inside. The lead allows you to bend each of the 'wings' of the mount so it can wrap around the surface you are placing it on. This mount includes the 176 Swivel Mount to Auto Mount Converter.
