JUST WHAT I NEEDED!
Pros: loud speaker, straight connector
Cons: none
Keeps my 276C charged up and working great. I ordered this cable mainly due to the intigrated speaker, and it works perfectly. Its loud enough to hear it clearly, and I'm deaf in one ear! GPS City was awesome as always...Very satisfied!

NEW STRAIGHT PLUG
Pros: straight plug - price
Cons: none
Works just great as a Garmin product should. The straight plug makes installing and removing the cable much easier.

There are no problems with this cable and from my perspective the comments of other people that the cable plug does not fit the unit socket are unfounded. Push the plug in until it clicks - that is all that is required.

Cons: none at all
This cable was actually better than the one that came with the gps. It not only sounds better, the cable itself was much heavier. Meaning that it was sturdier and will probably hold up much better.

BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL.
Pros: the angle of the plug is better than the original.
Cons: no cons it just works.
The 90 degree plug that was on the original Garmin cable was never very practical or easy to get into the GPS. The new cable has a straight in plug. Just grab it and push or pull without damaging the cable connection, and that is what happened to the old cable. Good product at a great price.

GARMIN 276C SPEAKER CABLE
Pros: clear loud and clear sound, very long cable.
Cons: nothing at this point
The speaker has crystal clear sound and can be heard with the music on and the windows down with the passengers singing along to their favorite tune. read that it might be hard to plug in when new but `i did not have that problem.

GREAT CABLE
Pros: great replacement and shipping

Had read reviews on cable not fitting good. I found I had to press the cable in a little harder and then felt a click. Have done it several times since and have had no problems. Fits great and It may be my imagination,but it seem the volume is better than the original.

Purchased on Aug 02 and received in 4-5 days as promised. Also ordered replacement battery and had both items shipped as one.
I had read reviews that the cable did not fit the 276c but I found out that it's just more snug. Like a final click to fit and it's very secure. I believe the speaker seems to be better than the original at least more volume. The battery was a perfect fit and have had no problems with either.

This cable plugs straight in to the GPS unlike the original. It is easier to plug and remove and may prove more durable than the original. At first I thought the plug was too small -- But found you must ensure it is plugged in as far as it will go. Plugging and unplugging the original as I switched from my car to my motorcycle is what caused my original cable to fail. This appears to be a better design but only time will tell. GPS city delivery was very fast. I Highly recommend GPS city.

DIDN'T WORK
If I plugged the cable into my Garmin 296 and held it there the cable worked fine. But when I let go the cable wouldn't stay plugged in. I called the Garmin help desk and they sent out a replacement right away at no cost to me even though I'd not purchased the faulty cable from them. I guess that even though the Garmin price was more than GPSCity's I should have gone to them in the first place.

this cable does not fit into the gps at all!!to small of dia. orig also had a 90 deg bend @ gps end.unfortunatly gps city cannot help except to buy a new gps. absolutley no support from this company at all just dump you off to garmin never again will i support them.

Pros: well built.
Cons: plug in not as tight as the original garmin 376c
Very good plug & speaker. Fit is slightly loose in my 376C, but the pins line up fine. The plug is a straight in connector in lieu of a 90* plug as the original is, this could explain the loose fit.

GOOD BUT...
Pros: in stock and ready when i needed it
Cons: poor sound quality.
Bought this item to replace one purchased 4 years ago. The new cable is good but not the same sound quality as the old one. I think they must use a cheaper quality speaker. Also the cable itself is much thicker which makes it hard to handle in cold car. But first time purchaser will likely not notice these gripes with nothing to compare it to.

I had bought like 4 times the same speaker because the fitting problem, i broke them all. Garming Changed already the connector as im seeing and improved it. Lets see if it last.

Ordered this component from GPS City but did not fit the Garmin 276C. Upon inquiry were informed that some fit difficult and this was experienced before. Could not return within 30 day return policy as I live ourside of USA. This part seems to have problems.
