PRE-CHARGED READY TO GO
Pros: long run time, pre charged
Cons: none
Battery was genuine Garmin so it fit correctly. Came fully charged has around 9 hr life at below freezing temp on snowmobile. Very happy.

IT'S THE OEM BATTERY, AND IT WORKS FINE
Pros: oem battery fits and works
Cons: none
Hard to write a scintillating review of a battery, but this battery was the real deal and installed without incident in my Garmin GPSmap 396. The battery comes fully-charged, by the way.

I have hardly used this battery since purchase, but should start using it soon as I will be going to work within the next week. I will see if it is a good one and last through the winter. I am still confused as it is a 7.4V, 2300mAh, and 17.0Wh and if this 7.4 V should be used in the 376c or the 276c. I am presently now using it in the 376c.
