Guy Quebec Jan 17, 2012	GOOD GPS Ad this time of season I can't plug in my boat but the place I buy a Digital marine charts try it and the GPS 521 show me a very fast screen redraw and beautiful color. Gerry Maryland Jun 21, 2011	WORLD BASEMAP IS USELESS Cons: garmin doesn't tell the truth on this Garmin doesn't tell you that the included basemap is totally useless. You will have to purchase a $300 BlueChart g2 Vision card to actually use it effectively. Its like you buy a car with an engine only to find out that the engine is only 5 horsepower. Reviewers on eBay have said the same thing. I think the 541 model comes with a BlueChart card and it might be cheaper than purchasing the 521 and a card. Recommend? NO 19 viewers found this helpful.
