rev801 Moose Jaw Jun 17, 2009	BOUUGHT WRONG UNIT Cons: not the right unit for the application. I bought this unit without the transducer because I wanted a thru-hull transducer and Inland U.S. waterways have some use to me. I took for granted it would work as a sonar with a different transducer. It doesn't have sonar ability. I didn't realize that Mapsource maps aren't compatible and the maps are sadly lacking for Western Canada. I just spent $1200 for a unit that has no use for me in the praires. Anybody need one of these cheap? Buyer be very aware. Recommend? NO 79 viewers found this helpful.
