Well enginered. Much better than my old Garmin mount.
Hold gps securely on my sailboat.

SECURE AND CONVENIENT
Pros: secure, convenient, easy in and out
Cons: nil
This mount is easy to install and holds the GPS very securely. It has a quick release that makes it easy to fasten or unfasten the unit.

GARMIN GPSMAP 78SC MARINE MOUNT
I'm an open water rower and needed something to securely hold my GPS and this Marine Mount works great and is easy to use. I attached it to my foot stretcher and it's well out of the way of my oars. I've just purchased it so time will tell if the plastic holds up but so far so good.
Recommend? YES

VERY GOOD MOUNT
Pros: very easy to install
Cons: none
I installed it on my Yamaha Waverunner and went to the Thousand Islands, jumped in the waves and the mount and GPS survived! Great product.
